Cyrus Kamini, Board Member

Cyrus Kamini has been sober since April 15, 2015, and is the founder of his new life as a sober member of the Charleston Community, the state of South Carolina, United States, the Planet Earth, and beyond!

You may think that’s not so extravagant but for this hopeless addict and alcoholic, who, in his last few years of using, was homeless and living on the streets, it really is! In his new life, he has taken a sincere interest in helping others out of the same hopeless state of mind and body.

He has become passionate about helping others out of the same hopeless state he once found himself in. He is an active member of the Charleston recovery community.

In addition to helping the hopeless find their way to sober, productive lives, he is also a landlord who invests in real estate, fixes up houses and advocates for affordable housing. Each year, he holds a coat drive to provide coats and blankets for the homeless on the streets and started a group called Toys for Good to collect toys and distribute them on Christmas to kids who would not otherwise receive any.
